A Pagan & Witchy Space that welcomes you as you are
Join Wyoming Valley CUUPS for an Open Yule Ritual and Potluck this Saturday at 6PM at UUCWV! https://fb.me/e/1IBMyYvFk
Yule, the Winter Solstice, falls on the shortest day and longest night of the year. Pagans welcome the rebirth of the Sun with dancing, music and festivities. This year we are celebrating the theme of hope. Attendees aim to arrive between 6:00PM-6:15PM, (doors open at 5:45p for our early birds) Ritual will start at 6:15 PM --Sweet Surrender by Unknown-- We are opening to the sweet surrender Of the luminous lovelight of the Sun We are opening to the sweet surrender Of the luminous lovelight of the Sun We are opening, we are opening We are opening, we are opening --Candle Flame by Katherine Gray-- Candle flame and firelight Keep us warm on the longest night Light the fires burn them bright Help us welcome back the light Call the sun and call the moon Call the dance and call the tune Keep the fire burning bright Let our voices call the light --We are one by Unknown-- We are one, We are one We are one, We are one Under the infinite sun Chant Library: https://www.wyomingvalleycuups.com/chant-library.html ((Excuse my voice, its feeling a little froggy from the dry air)) We will gather for the Potluck after the ritual. Please either keep ingredient list or label all offerings with the included ingredients to allow those with dietary restrictions to make healthy choices for themselves. This year we are doing a pagan witchy gift exchange! Whether it is a book, tarot deck, set of runes, oil blend, or another magickal tool that just needs a new home. We are aiming to keep gifts $25 or less. We will have an altar and yule tree for gifts to go under. We also have a few extra gift bags if you don’t wrap them. Our rituals like to include drumming, so feel free to bring a percussion instrument if you have one as well If you can’t make our in-person ritual, we have an online one as well - https://fb.me/e/3ingedTrJ
