Magick ✦ Inclusivity ✦ Connection ✦ Community

Picture

An open, affirming and inclusive Earth-Centered Community based in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. We offer open public rituals, meditations, celebrations and gatherings grounded in Witchcraft and Pagan practices.

A vibrant and growing group, Wyoming Valley CUUPS is dedicated to the principles of Unitarian Universalism. We gather together in sympathy and accordance with our values and draw on the many ritual-based expressions of our Pagan spirituality. We are Witches, Druids, Wiccans, Hellenics, Heathens, Mystics, Shamans and continue to grow. Our diversity is our strength.

Our monthly Full Moon Labyrinth Walks are held the night of the Full moon every month. During the warmer months, we walk a lighted outdoor labyrinth at the UUCWC while during the colder months we walk a labyrinth in the sanctuary of the church. We also offer a monthly Online Full Moon Ritual via Zoom for both our online community and those that prefer a more quieter, solitary practice.

Our monthly Dark Moon Discussions are held the night of the New moon every month  is a monthly meetup for discussion, learning, healing and deeper work while we enjoy delicious cozy beverages. There is a different topic each month. Some are more discussion focused, others more workshop like depending on who is leading that month.

We also offer a monthly online social called The Witching Hour. This event does not have a structure per se. You are invited to attend as your true self, in the company of other Pagans. You may wear a hat, or not. You may paint your face, or not. Do you have a new tattoo? You can show us if you'd like! Did you just get a new item for your altar that is the absolute BEST THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN? Why yes, we would love to see that. Depending on the number of attendees, breakout rooms may be employed.

The Wyoming Valley CUUPS follows a democratic process. Members elect a Manager annually to serve for one year. The Manager then selects a number of officers from a pool of willing participants. The WVCUUPS Management team is responsible for the behind the scenes work needed to create and facilitate our events. All Members are included in the planning process through Monthly Meetings held the second Friday of each month at 6PM EST online via Zoom.
