INFO FOR 2025 COMING SOON!!!

Link to our official Facebook Event
SATURDAY JUNE 17TH 3PM-7PM
FRANCES SLOCUM STATE PARK - Pavilions 2 !
567 Mt Olivet Rd, Wyoming, PA 18644

We are having our fourth annual Summer Pride gathering!!

Join us as members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ Community for a family-friendly Pagan celebration of the Summer Solstice on June 22nd!

We will be at pavilions 002, near the pools overflow parking lot. (Follow the signs at the entrance and look for the pavilion with all the rainbow stuff!)

This gathering is free and open to all!

We will be collecting donations for the amazing non-profit organization Queer NEPA in honor of Pride Month. Queer NEPA is a wonderful organization that does so much for Queer youth here in our local area. They are very near and dear to our hearts and we want to honor them and they work they continue to do.

Free food, games, drumming circle, divination readings and Pagan Rituals to Queer Deities (like Loki).
DRUM CIRCLE:A drum circle is a celebration of life, community, and music-making in the moment. Many of the chants used can be found in our chant library

Please bring hand drums, shakers and other hand percussion. A few small percussion instruments will be available if you do not have your own.

Video Source: Clip of our drum circle last year
FOOD: We will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. There will be vegetarian options available upon request. Those they are able may bring a covered dish to share at the community food table. If you do bring a dish, please label it with the ingredients so that people can make healthy to them choices.

FACE PAINTING: Face painting will be available again!

DIVINATION: We have members doing free tarot, rune and oracle readings. Feel free to bring your own divination tools to share.
Shannon Saylor - WVCUUPS elected Manager
BLOT TO LOKI: A blot is a heathen ceremony honoring a Heathen God. We are holding a Blot to Loki in honor of Pride Month. Loki is sacred to many Pagan LGBT+ because of his genderfluid nature. During the blot, participants will be able to give an offering (words of praise/thanks, flowers, candy, food, non-alcoholic beverages, etc.) that wish to.

In 2022, our Blot was the largest Loki ritual in the country!

These were the chants we used in 2023. We are currently planning our 2024 rituals for the Gathering so the chants we use are subject to change.

I am a strong Spirit, I am a loving Spirit
I am empowered and my soul will never die

I am a strong Spirit, I am a loving Spirit
I am empowered and my soul will never die

We are an old family, We are a new family
We are the same family stronger than before

We honor you, we empower you To be who you are
We honor you, we empower you To be who you are

"Song of the Faery Seer - We are remembering"
by Orion Foxwood

We are a people of the Earth
We are a people of the Sky
We are a people of the Heart
We are remembering...
We are remembering...

This is an all-inclusive event. It is our calling to help facilitate inclusive Pagan spaces that are safe and welcoming to all. We are stronger together. We believe the Gods call whom they will, and Paganism is for everyone, regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity, body type, ability or disability. If you take issue with this, this is not the space for you. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, white supremacy, and bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated.
