February brings a steady rhythm of connection, planning, and seasonal practice within the Wyoming Valley CUUPS Community. This month we move through Imbolc, the Full Moon, and the (VERY) slow turning toward spring, with both online and in-person opportunities to gather.

You will find lots of rituals, collaborative meetings (open to all), social nights, and creative offerings on the calendar. Whether you are joining us virtually or in-person, there are multiple entry points to connect at a pace that works for all.

As always, all events are open and welcoming. Full details, locations, and updates are available on our website and social spaces. We look forward to sharing this month with you.

Happy New Year Community!

January is a rest, planning and reset month for our Community. Our calendar this month focuses on starting the year cleanly, reviewing what is ahead, and coordinating upcoming events and leadership needs.

We begin the month with our New Year’s Purification Ritual and Labyrinth Walk, followed by an online New Year’s Purification and Full Moon Ritual. These gatherings mark the transition into the new year and give us a shared starting point as a community. Later in the month, we will hold our Community Monthly Meeting, which will focus primarily on planning March gatherings and checking in on the status of our winter and spring events.

This year, we received one application for the WVCUUPS Manager position. That candidate will be formally announced at the January Monthly Meeting, along with information about the next steps in the process. As a reminder, an active membership form must be on file in order to vote or participate in official decisions.

We are also beginning early planning for two major events:
  • The Court of the Fae Ball Masquerade Fundraiser on April 10
  • NEPA Pagan Pride Day on August 1
These events require long-range planning and volunteer coordination, and more details will be shared as teams and timelines are finalized.

We have a new Heathen Community growing with new gatherings and events coming up.

January is a good time to reconnect with how you want to participate this year. That might mean attending rituals or meetings, helping with event planning, joining social gatherings like game nights, or supporting the community in quieter ways behind the scenes.

Thank you for your continued involvement and support. We appreciate everyone who contributes their time, energy, and skills to keeping WVCUUPS running smoothly.

Join us this morning for community, spirituality and connection at our Sunday Service either in person or online via Zoom!

ZOOM LINK: https://zoom.us/j/7480262341

If you're searching for a religious home that is guided by a quest for truth and meaning, not by a set creed or dogma, we invite you to discover Unitarian Universalism. We are a caring, open-minded religious community that encourages you to seek your own spiritual path.

Our worship services begin at 10:30 on Sunday morning and combine a mixture of music, speaking, and silence. The topics for our services vary greatly from week to week, so we encourage you to attend more than one service.

This week, Wyoming Valley CUUPS leads a special UU Samhain Service.
Explore the history, meaning and resonance of the Final Harvest with members of the Wyoming Valley CUUPS Community.

We will have an Ancestral Altar.
We welcome you to bring photos and memorabilia of your beloved dead.

We will be using a piece of ribbon as part of this service. You are welcome to bring your own (about a foot) in a color of your chosen. If you are joining us on Zoom, please have a ribbon available to you during the service.
