Manager applications will be opening soon, and membership is required to apply. If you’re interested in stepping into leadership with us, now is a great time to make sure your membership is up to date.

✨ Membership Requirements
Membership in Wyoming Valley CUUPS is open to anyone who:
  • Acknowledges that they have read and agree to our Chapter Behavioral Covenant and Policies (currently under review).
  • Provides one annual contribution of time or talent.
  • Attends five or more WVCUUPS events each year, with at least two in-person.
  • Lives within the Wyoming Valley region (Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Wyoming counties).

Membership is reaffirmed yearly before our December meeting.

💜 Important Notes
  • Membership is always free—we are donation-based and volunteer-run.
  • We honor the spirit of time and attendance—there is no tracking system. We simply ask folks to contribute in meaningful ways when they can.
  • You do not need to be a voting member to attend any of our events. All are welcome.
  • Being a member of WVCUUPS does not require you to be a member of the UU Congregation of Wyoming Valley (though some of us are).

🌟 Why Become a Member?
Membership gives you voting power in our community. WVCUUPS members elect a Manager, who then selects officers to help with behind-the-scenes work that makes our rituals and events possible. It truly takes a community to keep WVCUUPS thriving, and membership ensures your voice is part of that process.

If you’re unsure whether you meet the requirements, or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to talk it through.
